What we do with BESS

  • Arbitrage
    We charge the battery when electricity prices are low (e.g. during off-peak or renewable surplus hours), and discharge when prices spike. This allows our clients to profit from price differentials in the energy market, both in electricity and, increasingly, in gas consumption optimization by shifting demand.

  • Peak Shaving
    By using the battery to reduce consumption during high-demand periods, we help clients avoid costly power peaks and minimize contracted power costs or penalty charges for exceeding thresholds.

  • Energy Shifting
    Through our EMS platform, we anticipate consumption and generation patterns (including PV or cogeneration) and shift energy use to the most favorable hours. This means making the most of self-generation or using the grid when it is most economical.
